Singapore – October, 16th, 2024:<\/b> Cladtek, the global leader in Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) Mechanically Lined Pipe (MLP) and weld overlay cladding manufacturer, announce the signing of a new collaboration agreement on August 6, 2024 in Tokyo, Japan, with Mitsui and Nippon Steel Corporation (NSC), to strengthen their presence in the Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) Linepipe (LP) market and to better support the growing demands.<\/p>\n

This strategic partnership aims to expand the companies\u2019 reach in the CRA market and secure success in the supply of Mechanically Lined Pipe (MLP) and Carbon Steel (CS) pipe contracts in the region. The agreement sets a foundation for Cladtek, Mitsui, and NSC to jointly tackle technical challenges and streamline processes through standardisation of specifications, ensuring top-quality production and efficiency in operations.<\/p>\n

Cladtek\u2019s Ryan Chu, Group EVP & CFO, expressed his positive outlook, stating, \u201cBy partnering with Mitsui and NSC, we are not only enhancing our presence in the CRA LP market but also ensuring that we meet the evolving needs of our clients and the energy sector through standardisation and efficient solutions. Following this event, Cladtek will engage Mitsui for Carbon Steel Pipe and Nickel Alloy inquiries, efforts will be made to finalise clarifications on materials such as mother bend pipe, backing pipes for Weld Overlay, and MLP processes.<\/p>\n<\/div>
