Cladtek Receives OTC Asia 2026 Spotlight on New Technology Award
Cladtek has been recognised with the Spotlight on New Technology Award at OTC Asia 2026 for its Tubulares revestidos mecanicamente (MLT) e RapidPipe™ technologies.
The award recognises breakthrough technologies that demonstrate significant technical advancement and industry impact across the offshore energy value chain.
Both MLT and RapidPipe™ were selected among the 2026 award recipients, highlighting their contribution to improving performance, efficiency, and sustainability in offshore developments.

Tubulares revestidos mecanicamente (MLT)
MLT combines a corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) liner with a carbon steel outer pipe and premium connection sealing. A welded CRA ring provides full metal-to-metal isolation through the joint, delivering corrosion resistance comparable to solid CRA at a lower cost. The technology is suited for applications in sour service, geothermal, and carbon capture environments.
RapidPipe™
RapidPipe™ is a DNV-qualified, weld-free subsea connector designed for fast and repeatable pipeline assembly. The system reduces offshore installation time, vessel usage, and associated emissions, while improving safety and operational efficiency. It is designed for reuse and supports applications including CO₂ and hydrogen transportation.
