Cladtek Commemorates World Day for Safety and Health at Work with Cladtek Safety Day
On 28 April 2024, Cladtek observed the World Day for Safety and Health at Work by organising Cladtek Safety Day, an initiative aimed at reinforcing the company’s commitment to workplace safety and health. The event focused on three key areas: raising awareness of climate change and its effects on occupational safety, introducing the Cladtek Golden Rules for workplace safety, and fostering a strong safety culture through active participation.
Climate Change and Occupational Safety
With climate change presenting new risks to workplace safety, Cladtek Safety Day provided an opportunity to highlight its impact on occupational health. Rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and changes in air quality can all contribute to potential hazards in the workplace. Employees were encouraged to discuss adaptive measures that could help mitigate these risks, ensuring a safer working environment for all.
Introducing the Cladtek Golden Rules
As part of its ongoing commitment to safety, Cladtek launched the Cladtek Golden Rules, a set of fundamental safety principles designed to guide employees in maintaining safe work practices. These rules serve as a reminder of the company’s expectations regarding safety standards and personal responsibility. The introduction of these guidelines aims to strengthen awareness and adherence to essential safety protocols.
Building a Strong Safety Culture
Beyond policies and regulations, a proactive safety culture relies on the active involvement of employees at all levels. Cladtek Safety Day included interactive sessions where employees shared insights and experiences related to workplace safety. Through discussions and collaborative activities, employees were encouraged to take ownership of safety measures and contribute to a safer working environment for everyone.
Cladtek remains committed to fostering a workplace where safety is a shared responsibility. By raising awareness, implementing structured safety practices, and encouraging active participation, Cladtek continues to prioritise the well-being of its employees while adapting to emerging workplace challenges.
