Coastal Clean-Up
More than 150 Cladtek volunteers joined forces with partners and the local community in Tanjung Uma, Batam for a day of clean-up and social activities — demonstrating that progress comes through collective action.
- 1,678kg of waste collected from coastal areas of Tanjung Uma
- Maintenance completed at our 2024 mangrove site in Tanjung Piayu, where 1,000 trees continue to grow
- Pre-loved goods collection to support reuse and reduce waste
- HDPE plastic upcycling workshop promoting circular economy awareness
- Storytelling and puppet show sessions for students of SDN 004 Tanjung Uma
Educational Partnerships with Local Institutions
Cladtek Academy was established to build local workforce capability through industry-focused training and development. Our Apprenticeship Program equips recent graduates with practical skills and real employment pathways. We work directly with universities and technical institutions in Batam, Rio de Janeiro, and Dammam — ensuring our training is grounded in the realities of energy manufacturing.

Biodiversity Protection Program
On Earth Day 2024, we took direct action to restore coastal ecosystems in Batam by planting 1,000 Rhizophora Mucronata mangrove seedlings in partnership with Akar Bhumi Indonesia. Mangroves are critical to coastal health and biodiversity — and this programme reflects our commitment to protecting the natural environments in which our communities live and work.

Beach Cleanup Initiative
In celebration of World Environment Day, Cladtek Brazil organised a coastal cleanup at Itacuruçá, Rio de Janeiro — removing plastic waste and raising awareness about the long-term impact of pollution on marine and coastal environments. Protecting the places we operate in is part of our commitment to a sustainable future.
